Mission Focus groups have been developed to organize the Jackson District in a way that offers the greatest potential for aligning local church and conference resources for the fulfillment of the Church’s mission, “To make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.”
The district is divided into six sectors, with one pastor from each sector facilitating the group meetings and the development of a missional strategy for each church as well as the sector.

We annually provide a contribution towards our high school’s Project Graduation on that special night. This fall we will be sponsoring a “Fifth Quarter” gathering for the families and students who attend the home football game that evening. We provide a Wednesday night meal, games, and Bible study for children from preschool through high school. Our connection with the United Methodist Church is also vital. We provided monies towards the Bishop’s new residence in Africa. We contributed to the Lenten World Hunger offering, as well as Hannah’s Hope. Our connection to the world is also important to us.
